Geological Engineer

Geological Engineer specialistic in well site with more than 25 years of experience working in the Eastern and Western basins  in Venezuela.

Geological control to the operations of exploratory well perforation. Control and analysis of geo-pressure. Parameters interpretations of well perforation: rate of penetration, exponent “dc”, pore pressure, formation gas, trip gas, connections gas, chromatography gas analysis, tanks volumes, curves of resistivity and temperature of the perforation mud. Interpretation  and analysis of the behavior of these values for the control of the perforation. Warning about exploratory well blow out while drilling and mud losses detection, warnings on possible clogged pipe. Hydrocarbon indications during the perforation. Lithological analyses of cuttings during the perforation of exploratory wells, cuttings fluorescence and cut. Analysis of the curve of shale density. Calcimetry analysis for cuttings on carbonatic rocks. Detection of zones with abnormal pressures using Mud Logging Units and location of point of casings set in order to continuing the perforation. Detection of producing geologic horizons while drilling.
